Portroe Dive Centre was first open 8 years ago but it is under new management for almost 3 years to date. The new manager Piotr Dybikowski invested over 30.000 euro to make Portroe a great place to dive, learn and practise dive skills.
We now have:

- Changing Rooms
- Toilet
We have 2 working compressors as well as an air bank. That allows us to get Your tank filled in under 5 minutes! Cost of filling single 12l cylinder is only 6 euro. We can fill cylinder up to 300 bars. We provide many different mixtures on the spot, such as:

Nitrox ( any percentage )
Oxygen
Portroe Dive Centre is fully insured against public liability.
We provide diving equipment servicing.

Portroe Underwater:
Depth range from 7-8m to 40m depending on water levels with an average of 18m. Therefore it’s a perfect place to run recreational dive courses on all levels of experience. Also many divers choose this dive site to start their technical and rebreather diving career. Underwater training platform build at 5m depth allows for easy skill training and development.
Beside training there are many places for scenic diving located at the bottom and around the quarry. You can find multiple car wrecks a boat and an underwater pub!
Crystal clear visibility. Step in entry. Wrecks to see. Toilets and changing facilities. No boat needed. We don’t need to bring a compressor.
Portroe Quarry will never replace all other dive sites but it’s admittedly one of the best inland dive locations in Ireland. It’s always divable regardless of weather conditions. Quarry is open every Saturday and Sunday and often, at least once a mont we organize a night dive.
All divers have access to changing room with hot tea and coffee. Next to changing rooms we have build sheltered area where You can comfortably gear up away from sun or rain.
New office building is perfectly prepared to run theory lessons during diving courses taking place in Portroe.
We are diving clubs friendly and have prepared a special offer for all club members to come in and try Portroe for a day. Th deal consist:
FREE admision for 1 day ( Worth 20 euro )
Air fills for 2 dives per person ( Worth 12 euro )
The only cost for each club member would be cover 15 euro public liability cost, witch would also make them Portroe Dive Centre member until 1st January 2019.
